Preschool Speech and Language

The Preschool Speech and Language Program assesses and supports children with speech and language concerns, helping them build communication skills and reach developmental milestones.

For children ages 0-11 who are experiencing speech or language challenges and may need support to strengthen their communication skills.

The Preschool Speech and Language Program helps children develop the communication skills they need to express themselves, connect with others, and participate confidently at home, in school, and in their communities.

Through assessment and individualized support, speech-language professionals identify each child’s strengths and areas for growth and develop recommendations based on their unique needs. Children with moderate or greater speech and language delays may receive intervention services to support their communication development, while families of children with milder delays are provided with practical home-based strategies and activities to encourage progress. By partnering with parents and caregivers, the program helps build communication skills and supports children in reaching important developmental milestones.
