Respite (Adult)

Respite Services provides social and recreational programming for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, promoting connection, skill development, and community participation.

When you’re looking for opportunities to connect with others, build friendships, and enjoy community activities, having a supportive environment can make a meaningful difference. Respite Services supports adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities through group-based social and recreational programming.

The program helps participants build social connections, strengthen communication skills, and increase community involvement.

Through facilitated games, activities, and group experiences, participants have opportunities to develop friendships, practice social and conversational skills, and work toward individual goals. Offered in community settings through structured eight-week sessions, the program promotes inclusion, participation, and personal growth while providing families and caregivers with valuable respite support.
