Partnership In Autism

Partners in Autism supports youth 12–18 with ASD and their caregivers through moments of intense crisis. We offer psychotherapy and behavioural consultation, and coordinate the services families need to find their footing again.

Partners in Autism is a six-month program for youth ages 12–18 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their caregivers who are experiencing crisis in their home, school or community as a result of complex needs and behaviours. Families are supported by a team that includes a Lumenus psychotherapist, a Kerry’s Place autism consultant and a service coordinator. Together, they help youth and caregivers get through the moment of crisis. During the program, youth develop practical skills for everyday life, including emotional regulation, communication, self care, safety skills and community participation.

Caregivers get guidance to navigate the care system, overcome barriers and get access to the support and services they need.
