MLSE

MLSE helps young people, ages 6 to 29, from underserved communities build confidence and improve their wellbeing. Through mental-health counselling, drop-in support, and workshops, we guide young people to see and reach their potential.

We provide mental-health counselling for children, youth, and young adults ages 6โ€“29 who live in communities where social justice issues, like poverty and racism, heavily impact their wellbeing.

Here, theyโ€™ll find the support they need to improve their mental wellbeing and build their confidence.

Led by psychotherapists and service coordinators, we offer:

  • drop-in counselling
  • ongoing counselling
  • workshops

We also connect them and their families with additional services whenever they’re needed.

The MLSE Launchpad

The MLSE program runs out of the MLSE LaunchPad โ€“ a setting thatโ€™s built to make young people feel welcome and at ease.

Right at the corner of Jarvis and Dundas, LaunchPad is a 42,000-square-foot Sport for Development centre where people can rock climb, play team sports, learn to cook, and try new hobbies. By offering mental health support where youths already gather, learn, and play, LaunchPad removes the stigma and makes it easier for young people to ask for help.
