Foundational Family Services Autism

Foundational Family Services helps families of children and youth with autism access resources, learn practical strategies, navigate services, and build skills that support their child’s development and well-being.

When you’re raising a child or youth with autism, having access to the right information, resources, and support can make a meaningful difference. Foundational Family Services helps families build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to support their child’s learning, development, and well-being.

The program helps families better understand their child’s needs, strengthen their ability to support development at home and in the community, and navigate available services and supports.

Through workshops, resource support, consultations, and parent education programs, families gain practical tools and strategies tailored to their goals. Services may include guidance on navigating the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), accessing community resources, understanding school supports, applying for funding, and building skills related to communication, behaviour, routines, and daily living. By providing personalized support and evidence-informed strategies, Foundational Family Services empowers families to support their child’s growth and participation in everyday life.
