Core Clinical Services provides Occupational Therapy for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ages 2 to 14. These services support children in developing the everyday skills they need to participate more independently and confidently at home, at school, and in the community.
Occupational Therapy may support skills related to fine motor development, self-care (such as dressing and feeding), sensory processing, emotional regulation, play, and participation in daily routines. Our team works closely with families to provide practical strategies that can be used at home, school, and in the community.
Services begin with a 1โ1.25 hour assessment conducted by a registered Occupational Therapist (OT). During this session, the OT will learn about your childโs strengths, needs, and daily routines, and work with you to identify priority goals.
Based on the assessment, a personalized therapy plan is developed. Ongoing sessions are delivered by a trained Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), with guidance, supervision, and consultation provided by the OT to ensure services remain individualized, goal-focused, and aligned with your childโs development.
